Projects that received funding in the 14th Senatorial District in Luzerne County are as follows:

- Swoyersville Borough – $25,000 for playground upgrades at several parks located in Swoyersville Borough.
“Investing in our outdoor spaces is critical – especially as we continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic,” said State Senator John Yudichak. “More people than ever before are frequenting our outdoor amenities and we need to ensure that they are accessible and safe for our residents to enjoy. Thank you to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development Secretary Dennis Davin and the Wolf Administration for supporting these projects in the 14th Senatorial District in Luzerne County.”
Senator Yudichak worked with the Luzerne County legislative delegation to secure these awards.
These projects are funded by the Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program (GTRP). Act 13 of 2012 established the Marcellus Legacy Fund and allocates funds to the Commonwealth Financing Authority for planning, acquisition, development, rehabilitation and repair of greenways, recreational trails, open space, parks and beautification projects.
